This 8.5mm x 22mm Dowty washer combines an A2 Stainless Steel washer with a bonded EPDM Rubber seal to help create a sealed fixing point around compatible bolts or screws. The 2.8mm total thickness and 2mm rubber section allow the seal to compress beneath the fastener across electrical enclosures, access panels and outdoor equipment.
What Are Bonded Sealing Washers?
Bonded Seal Washers, often referred to as Dowty washers, use a metal outer washer bonded to a rubber sealing section. The metal component provides support and load distribution while the elastomer compresses to help seal the fixing hole.
