Our Pin Torx Countersunk Screws, Security Hexalobular or Security Torx Countersunk Screws as they are also known, are manufactured to DIN 7991 from high performance materials, which provide an excellent level of resistance and strength across medium to heavy loads. The pin torx prevents the use of a standard torx drive to engage with the screws, requiring a security torx drive to fasten this screw. These Countersunk Screws can sit flush into a pre countersunk recess, this can be useful to prevent snagging of wires and fabrics. These screws can also be used with Finishing Washers for non-countersunk flat surfaces. These screws have a torx drive, also known as hexalobular drive, which allows higher torque transmission than hex drives.
Most commonly used in conjunction with Washers and Nuts, these products pare used to hold fasteners in place, joining two or more parts together. We also offer Socket Cap Screws and Socket Countersunk Screws. A Torx drive is used where higher installation torques are required than a traditional slot or cross recessed drive will support.
Our Pin Torx Countersunk Screws are available in BZP, A2 (Equivalent to 304) Stainless Steel in metric sizes from M3 x 6mm to M12 x 100mm. For our full selection of sizes and materials see the product table displayed below, or get in touch with a member of our staff.
Our Security Torx Countersunk Screws are also available as Torx Countersunk Screws and Secuirty Torx Button Head Screws.
