Regularly used as replacement feet, these inserts work well with all kinds of round tubing which has been made for ground contact, acting as a foot when used in this kind of situation. When used as Round tube end caps, these are best suited for finishing uses such as a chrome tube finish, however they are also used for protection in larger tube diameters to cover pipe holes and similar applications. In some instances, these Round Plastic Inserts are available above 120mm, however you will need to look at some of our other listings to see all of the standard sizes which we have on offer.
Round Inserts 38-76.2mm
These Round Plastic Inserts for tubes are manufactured from a premium plastic and are regularly used with tubes, pipes and poles for all kinds of finishing, protection or truly assorted uses. These come with ribs as standard which help to give it a secure fitting inside of the tube or pipe as the ribs bend out of place when being knocked in. These round tube end caps are to fit sizes between 38mm and 76.2mm, however we are also able to offer a larger range of plastic end caps for round tubes all the way above and beyond 120mm which are often used for posts and poles due to the larger sizes offered.
Round Inserts 76-195mm
Our Round Plastic Inserts for use with tubes and other rounded objects are an ideal choice of plastic insert, simply slotting up on the inside of the tube to provide a number of finishing and protection benefits including prevention of ingress and other substance as well as to provide a clean look and feel. These Round tube end caps for plastic tube ends come in sizes ranging between 76mm and 120mm, this includes a number of sizes in between each of the measurements. Used mainly for larger applications such as pipes and posts, these come in a number of larger sizes to suit, including industry standard ones which make up many common size options.
Round Angled Inserts
Round Angled Inserts are Plastic Inserts, designed for use with tubes that sit angled to the floor. Technically regarded as 'Chair Feet' these can double up as inserts for tubes, where they can be used as a finish or protection product if preferred for any reason.
Round Domed Inserts
These 'Domed' version of our Round Tube Inserts offer a versatile solution for fixing into a round piece of tubing, acting either as a foot, or as a finish product. Ribbed for a tight fitting, these inserts cover a wall thickness range which should be matched to your tube for a flush and proper installation. Also regarded as 'end caps' for round tubes, these are not to be confused with our end cap selection, which generally are fitted over the outside section.
Round Chromed Inserts
These Round Tube Inserts are offered with a chrome finished head, which work excellently with any chromed piece of tubing. Offering a flush and aesthetic finish, it is no wonder why these are one of the most popular solutions inside this range, especially for manufacturers who are looking to incorporate it in a product. Regarded a tube ends, these fit onto the end of a tube rather than sitting inside.
Round Thin Head Inserts
'Thin head' type inserts are designed with a smooth head, which sits flush at the end of round tubing. Thin head inserts may be used inside homes and offices, to blank of excess holes and prevent them from becoming larger. Round tube inserts, like other inserts come with ribs to fit across a range of wall thicknesses, providing an easier fit than other solutions.
Round Heavy Duty Inserts
Round Heavy Duty Inserts are a bespoke type of plastic insert, designed for heavier uses than their standard counterparts. Manufactured from PE rather than an LDPE, these have better strength under load, as a harder form of Plastic. As round tube inserts, these fit on the internal section of round tubing, for use as feet or to prevent ingress into an otherwise hollow piece of tube.
Round Threaded Inserts
Round Plastic Threaded Inserts, or threaded tube fittings as they can be known are a widely used part that work well with round tubes / holes due to their ribs which allow them to be slotted in and fixed with ease, whilst maintaining a tight fitting at all times. These are a plastic threaded tube insert solution that are extremely hard and durable therefore will work with a massive array of applications, each product has a number of thread options and sizes available with these standard plastic options with anything between M6-12 providing you with some of the strongest possible metal threads for your external attachment of threaded goods or products to fit inside your threaded tube insert. Threaded inserts or threaded tube ends as they are also called are good for use with a huge array of different tube sizes, lengths and shapes. Known as Tube Fixings for feet these work by insertion into a round tubular frame or section, with ribs to keep them tight in their position once fitted.
Teflon Insert Glides
These Insert Glides for tubes come with a PTFE base from standard, this promotes excellent gliding properties across a range of surfaces. Commonly used with carpet or even vinyl, PTFE resembles a popular consumer product in terms of teflon, a material which is regularly employed with frying pans to prevent sticking.
Felt Glides For Tubes
These Tube Glides for chairs come with a standard flat base topped with felt, this helps to reduce friction across surfaces and can be easily fitted to tubular Chairs/Furniture. Coming with a ribbed shank section, these fit securely and without the need for additional fasteners, fixings or adhesives. Unlike our other products, these Tubular Insert Glides can be installed onto almost any appliance, making them a popular choice over their nail on, or screw in counter-parts. In their more broad sense and categorically, these are referred to as Felt Chair Glides. Hence their main usage being with a tubular base chair leg, where they would be inserted to act as a foot type fitting.
Tilting Felt Glides For Tubes
These Insert Glides for tubes come with tilting bases from standard, this allows you to adapt and adjust the base to suit your particular chair/furniture leg angle. Failing that, the base can also be adjusted to suit the specific flooring that it is being placed on, preventing any issues with stability. As Tube Glides, these work well towards reducing friction and stopping floors from becoming damaged or scratched. With a premium felt base, these are truly efficient and effective components that come in at reduced price thanks to their effective manufacturing. Again, in a broader sense than their main category these can be known as Felt Chair Glides. Being a wider take on its specific term, these can vary in how people understand them, from ball base foot to a felt base insert.
Round Metal Inserts
Round Metal Threaded tube inserts are used across a number of different industries due to their strong properties and resistance. Round Metal inserts are commonly used in conjunction with metal tubes, this can help to add structural integrity whilst providing a thread which can allow for the external fitting of heavy duty parts such as machine feet and conveyorbelt feet which can be demanding for most standard threaded metal inserts. Threaded round metal inserts are available with a range of thread sizes to suit your specific uses, whether it is a heavy duty use or not, these metal inserts have been designed to work perfectly.

Our selection of Round Tube Inserts are manufactured using high quality materials, ranging from LDPE Plastics to Aluminium Alloys, depending on the type of installation required. These products are commonly used to finish off or cap the end of a tube.

Plastic Round Inserts are recommended for this as they come in a number of styled variations. One such includes 'Chromed', which works well to provide an aesthetically pleasing finish to your tube. These products are also known as 'Round Tube Caps' thanks to their capping uses.

They help to cover and prevent ingress of substance to the internal section of your tubing, protecting against excess water, acids and alkali's. Round Tube Inserts are easily fitted to your tube or section, requiring just a tap by hammer or hand for a long term fitting.
