Providing a combined washer and seal for electrical enclosures, access panels and outdoor equipment, this 6.8mm x 19mm bonded washer uses a 0.8mm stainless steel section with a 2mm EPDM Rubber sealing layer. Correct compression beneath a compatible fixing helps form a reliable barrier around the fastener hole.
What Are Bonded Sealing Washers?
Bonded Seal Washers, often referred to as Dowty washers, use a metal outer washer bonded to a rubber sealing section. The metal component provides support and load distribution while the elastomer compresses to help seal the fixing hole.
