Manufactured to DIN 472, the 22mm Bore Circlip is used where components need to be held inside a 22mm housing without relying on threaded fasteners.
A raised tang profile gives circlip pliers a clear contact point, making fitting and removal more controlled during servicing. It offers a removable alternative to shoulder plates, pins and other secondary retention methods.
Fitting and Use
Unlike external circlips, which fit around a shaft, an internal circlip expands into a bore groove. This makes it suitable for retaining parts inside housings, cylinders and machined recesses.
