Ideal for food processing assemblies, this 23mm Component Retaining Ring provides internal retention for bearings, spacers and sleeves inside a 23mm bore.
Because the ring sits inside the bore, it keeps the assembly compact while still providing a dependable internal shoulder for retained parts. Engineers may refer to this part as a C clip, retaining ring for bores or internal snap ring.
Fitting and Use
The tangs provide tool access during installation. When compressed, the ring reduces in diameter so it can enter the bore before expanding back into the machined groove.
