The M120 x 170.0mm Nord-Lock® Washer | Delta Protekt® Hardened Steel combines accurate dimensions with proven wedge-locking geometry to create an effective mechanical locking washer. What Are Nord-Lock® Washers?
Unlike conventional friction-based lock washers, Nord-Lock® washers use cam geometry to secure the bolted joint. The two washers are fitted cam-to-cam, leaving their serrated faces outward. When the fastener tries to rotate, the cams force an increase in bolt tension, which opposes further loosening.
