This 6.6mm ID top hat nylon bush is sized with a 6.6mm internal bore, 7.9mm outside diameter, 12.7mm shaft length and 13.0mm flange diameter for use around machine screws, light shafts, cable runs and panel fixings. It gives UK engineers a simple flanged insert for protecting drilled holes while adding a controlled shoulder inside the assembly.
Where a metal sleeve is not suitable, this nylon bushing provides a simple way to add clearance and separation around the fixing. It is a useful alternative to a plain washer when non-metallic spacers or nylon sleeve bushes are needed in the same assembly.
