This 6.7mm x 16mm bonded seal washer is suited to roofing fixings, cladding and external sheet-metal work where a conventional flat washer alone would not provide a sealing element. The EPDM Rubber section is permanently bonded to the A2 Stainless Steel washer to create a single-piece sealing component.
What Are Bonded Sealing Washers?
Bonded Sealing Washers combine a metal washer with a bonded rubber sealing element. As the fixing is tightened the rubber compresses against the mating surface while the metal ring spreads the clamping load, helping create a sealed joint around the fastener.
These bonded washers combine a metal support ring with a bonded elastomer seal for suitable bolted and screwed connections.
