M12 Domed Hex Nut DIN 1587 | Brass
The M12 Domed Hex Nut DIN 1587 is a larger brass acorn nut used to cover exposed M12 threaded components. The closed dome helps shield the thread end while giving the finished assembly a smoother, more complete appearance.
Manufactured from self-colour brass, this M12 dome nut is ideal for decorative and sheltered installations where a brass finish is preferred over a plain exposed fastener. Its 1.75mm pitch, 19.0mm across flats and 22.0mm height provide a prominent cap for larger visible threaded connections.
Common Applications
- Architectural brass hardware
- Large display structures
- Decorative machinery panels
- Exposed threaded rod ends
