Manufactured to DIN 472, the 100mm Retaining Ring for Bores is used where components need to be held inside a 100mm housing without relying on threaded fasteners.
A raised tang profile gives circlip pliers a clear contact point, making fitting and removal more controlled during servicing. It offers a removable alternative to shoulder plates, pins and other secondary retention methods.
Fitting and Use
For replacement work, the bore diameter and outside diameter should be checked against the existing groove. This helps prevent loose fitment or overstressing during installation.
