Frequently specified for control cabinet apertures exposed to spray and dust, this IP67 panel plug provides a tidy push-fit solution for 19.1mm panel openings. The break-through membrane remains closed until a cable is inserted, helping protect spare entries from dust, moisture and general contamination.
Because the membrane stays closed until pierced by the cable, the part can be installed early in the build to seal a spare hole. When wiring is added, the same component can be used as a cable bushing without replacing the original plug. This version is suited to 1.6mm panels, with locking finger steps listed below to support accurate selection against the panel detail.
What Are Liquid Tight Break Through Plugs?
Liquid tight break through plugs are co-moulded sealing parts used to close panel holes while retaining the option for cable entry. The centre membrane can remain intact as a closed seal or be pierced by a cable to form a protected pass-through, helping electrical enclosures resist water, dust and contamination.
