M10 Wing Nut DIN 315 -A2 Stainless Steel (304) -36.2mm Wide
The M10 AA2 Stainless Steel Wing Nut measures 36.2mm across the wings and is a heavy-duty butterfly nut -also known as a butterfly nut or thumb nut, manufactured to DIN 315 and designed for heavy-duty access panels, structural clamps, industrial equipment guards and outdoor frameworks where a large butterfly nut must hold securely under significant operational load. The two large wings allow the nut to be tightened and loosened by hand without any tools -essential wherever the fastening needs to be adjusted, inspected or removed regularly without stopping to find a spanner.
A2 stainless steel (grade 304 / 18-8) provides good corrosion resistance for general industrial, outdoor and lightly corrosive environments. At 36.2mm wide with a 17.3mm height, the wing profile delivers substantial hand-tightening torque. A countersunk bearing face seats stably against the clamping surface to prevent rotation under load. DIN 315 compliant -dimensionally consistent with any compatible M10 bolt or threaded rod at 1.5mm pitch.
