What Are DIN 985 Nyloc Nuts?
DIN 985 Nylon Lock Nuts use a polymer insert above the metal thread to create resistance against the mating bolt. The nut body remains metal while the nylon insert provides the locking action which makes these fasteners useful in vibration-prone mechanical assemblies.
