This unusual specification is typically used in travel limiters, adjustable stops or very deep threaded bore applications rather than conventional shaft locking. A1 stainless steel is non-magnetic and chemical resistant - ideal for laboratory and sensitive electronic environments. The headless design sits completely flush within the threaded hole.
