M2.5 x 3mm Slotted Grub Screw Cup Point A1 Stainless Steel DIN 438
The M2.5 x 3mm slotted cup point set screw is one of the smallest standard grub screws available. At just 2.5mm thread diameter and 3mm long it is built exclusively for miniature assemblies - watch mechanisms, micro optical mounts and tiny instrument housings where even an M3 would be too large. The cup point leaves a ring-shaped indentation on the shaft surface rather than a sharp gouge, protecting delicate surfaces during tightening. Tighten with a flat-head screwdriver or slotted bit. A1 stainless steel is non-magnetic and fully corrosion resistant - ideal where the set screw must not interfere with sensitive electronics nearby. Headless design sits flush within the threaded hole. DIN 438 / ISO 7436 compliant.
