The M3 x 5mm slotted grub screw is a well-balanced general-purpose set screw - one and two-thirds thread diameters of engagement - suited to light-duty collar and hub locking across a broad range of small engineering assemblies. A frequent choice for knob-to-shaft retention on control panels, small coupling locks and miniature gearbox assemblies where a neat headless design is preferable to a visible screw head. Tighten with a standard flat-head screwdriver. The cup point sits cleanly in the shaft surface and A1 stainless steel keeps the screw corrosion free. DIN 438 / ISO 7436 compliant.
