The M2.5 x 8mm slotted cup point set screw delivers maximum holding strength for an M2.5 thread in standard engineering applications. At over three full diameters of engagement this length is chosen when sustained radial loads, high cycle fatigue or hard-to-access components mean a shorter set screw is not reliable enough. Common in precision scientific instruments and compact automation drives where the headless grub screw needs to stay put for the lifetime of the equipment. Drive with a flat-head screwdriver or slotted bit. A1 stainless steel, non-magnetic. DIN 438 / ISO 7436 compliant.
