The M6 x 18mm slotted set screw is three full thread diameters in length - a long-engagement option for heavy-duty M6 shaft retention where maximum holding strength and depth are both required. Used in structural coupling assemblies, large-diameter shaft collars on industrial plant and machinery where both axial pull-out resistance and radial grip are design-critical. At this length the cup point is buried well into the shaft surface providing exceptional contact force. Drive with a flat-head screwdriver. A2 stainless steel (304 / 18-8). DIN 438 / ISO 7436 compliant.
